Exact answers about US places: which county a point is in, straight-line distances, populations within a radius, and county ranks, each with its formula and Census data vintage.
What this site does
Online Map Tools answers one kind of question for many places, using data published by a public source. Each page exists because it answers a distinct question, not because a template could be filled in with another name.
How the data is handled
Every value shows its source and the time it was observed or released. Values that fail a validation check are withheld rather than estimated. The methodology page explains the source, the checks and the limits in detail.
Independence
Online Map Tools is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organisations that publish the underlying data.
