Georgia county map maker
Make a Georgia county map: color counties by clicking or by pasting data, add a legend, and download PNG, SVG, or PDF. Free, no sign-up.
Drawing the map…
Click a region to color it, click again to clear. Right-click or Shift-click clears. Hold Ctrl (⌘) and move to paint. Keys 1–9 pick a color; Ctrl+Z undoes.
How to make a Georgia map
- Pick a color under Colors and type what it means, such as “Visited” or “Over 10 million”. That text becomes the legend.
- Click counties on the map to color them. Click again to clear, or right-click. Search the list to find small counties.
- Add more colors with Add color, or switch a color to stripes or dots to show a second category.
- Under Style, add a title, move the legend, and change borders and background.
- Under Save, download a PNG, SVG, or PDF, copy a share link, or save a map file to keep editing later.
Your work saves in this browser as you go, so a closed tab does not lose it. Undo and redo cover every change (Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z).

Color the map from spreadsheet data
Open Data and paste two columns copied from Excel or Google Sheets: the county name and a value. Numbers are split into up to five shaded classes with an equal number of counties in each, and the legend shows each range. Words such as “Yes” and “No” each get their own color.
County names with or without the word County, and five-digit FIPS codes, all match.
Download, print, and reuse
PNG downloads are 2,400 pixels wide, sharp enough for slides and print. SVG opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, or Figma for further editing, and PDF prints on one page. The boundaries are public domain, so you may publish the map anywhere, including commercially. A small credit line is on by default; you can turn it off under Style. For an uncolored outline to print, use the blank map of Georgia.
